    What are databases?
Databases include newspaper, encyclopedia, and magazine articles, eBooks, and articles from scholarly journals.  It is a good idea to use databases because information there is generally written by experts, well organized, and can accessed by lexile level.  Students need to know how to use EBSCO and other database to be ready for college-level work.
