District Strategic Plan & Facilities Planning Reports

The District is in the process of doing a  facility needs assessment using input from the community.  As part of the District's Strategic Plan the Board is hosting a series of work sessions to seek input from all stakeholders on the facility needs of the Florence-Carlton School District.  The last major upgrade to the school buildings was 1992.  Through sound financial planning the district has been able to replace the sewer/septic system, the boiler system, roofs, and the old gym ceiling in recent years.  The electrical system, middle school HVAC, entry doors, and a cafeteria with a full service kitchen are just some of the immediate needs. The first meeting was held on February 8th and the spreadsheet below is the list that was generated by the parents, students, staff and community members present.  If you would like to help serve on the Building Committee or have additional ideas as to the needs of the district facilities please email Bud Scully at scullyb@florence.k12.mt.us or call the district office 406-273-6751.
